Cans for Comments

HEADER-cans4comments530

Don’t worry, its not dirty!  Cans for Comments is a way for photographers to give back to the community.  Many of us are privileged to be in the business that we are in.  We spend our time working with happy people who, for the most part also have the privilege or being surrounded by the people that they love the most.  At the end of the day, our work is all about happiness, satisfaction and memories.  It is a way to put food on the table and a roof over our heads.  Sadly, there are just as many people in our great city of Calgary who don’t have the same opportunities and privileges as us.  I’ve always been open about sharing what I have and giving where I can.  As such, I’ve decided to participate in this ambitious, yet very worthy cause.

For every comment that you leave on my blog starting today – December 3, 2009 until December 20, 2009, it doesn’t matter which post, I will donate a can of food to the Calgary Interfaith Food Bank.  Spam comments don’t count so be sincere in your comments.  I want to here from all of you out there!!

And one more photo that you can start commenting on! Go nuts!

Jan Tiessen a.k.a. Stephanie’s mom ;) - Dear Terrance,
I wish I could thank you again personally for the amazing artistry that you created for our daugher, Stephanie, and our new son-in-law, Danny. Your pictures of them are magical and have memories that will last forever for them and all of us. What I love so very much about you is your love of what you do and your excitement and enthusiasm which shines through as I watched you that day creating their memories but enjoying every moment artistically yourself. I have told Stephanie many many times how very thankful I am that she found you as I know there is no other that could have captured what you have done. Run with you gift Terrance and Godspeed!!! You are amazing.
And yes, Stephanie has been since day one, a very special special person
- we were truly blessed ;) I would have added this on the blog but it wouldn’t take my comment, so I’m sorry it had to be this way. Again, my heartfelt thankful, Steph’s mom, JanDecember 8, 2009 – 10:06 pm
