Christine & Stuart: Baker Park Wedding in Calgary
July 26, 2010
Finally! Christine and Stuart your day has come. Actually, if I may so humbly suggest that this is the 2nd day…your first being the wedding day. I’ll put aside my massive ego for a moment and agree to refer to this blog post as the 2nd most awesomest day of your wedding.
Right from the moment we met, I knew something magical was going to happen. Stuart let Christine run the show and wasn’t going to say no to her vision of her wedding day. He was the right type of groom. He was quiet, knowing, agreeable and most importantly in love with his best friend. He wanted to make sure that she got what she wanted and had no problems giving it to her. He started out quiet, but by the time we had finished the wedding photos, he treated me like a friend. She started out excited, and by the end of it all, although seemingly impossible, she was even more excited than when we first met. It was like her energy level grew as the day progressed. As dorky and cliche as it may sound, I think it was the power of the day that kept lifting her up. She was the quintessential bride. Full of life, love, energy and not a care in the world except for her new husband and their beautiful kids.
This was another beautiful wedding planned by Inspired Occasions, with the beautiful floral arrangements by Monica at Modern Petals. The wedding ceremony was held at Baker Park and the reception was in one of the most unique locations ever… the Aerospace Museum!
I know I said it a million times during your wedding day and I’ll say it one last time, congratulation Christine and Stuart and thank you for helping me create these beautiful images for you to keep.

Christine got busted strikin’ a pose by my 2nd shooter David.

The smash cake designed by Cakery Bakery was a smashing success!
