Tanya and Dave are friends of mine. And I’m never more excited and nervous than when I have to photograph a friends wedding. Excited is pretty obvious, but nervous because as much as I really want all my clients to love their photos, I get nervous that friend clients aren’t going to love their photos as much as I do, and that makes my knees sweat. But as nervous as I was, Tanya and Dave made it incredibly easy for me to do what I do best; take gorgeous wedding photos. They were calm, relaxed and just ready to roll with the day as it came. No pressure from them to get “THE” shot, just the expectation that I will (and I will) get the important photos that they’ll want to remember and the moments that they might not have even known were happening. With the help of their incredibly talented wedding planner they put on a stunning and welcoming event that their guests and family will no doubt remember. Congratulations Tanya & Dave – thank you for trusting me with your day and thank you for being a couple that I can call a friend. Tanya, you were and are absolutely beautiful. David, I’ve never seen you smile more than you were on your wedding day. It makes me happy to see you smiling that way.
