My first ever blog post from my iPhone. We don’t have Internet where we are which has been an inconvenient blessing. Being off the grid for the last 2 weeks (minus an hour here and there) has been such a refreshing change of pace. I can’t begin to explain how exhilarating it has been to be able to disconnect for a short while and just get back to life. Now my batteries have been recharged and I’m ready to come back to reality with a clear head and renewed energy. To everyone who has sent me an email and is waiting on a reply I apologize but I promise I’ll respond to everyone as my top priority when I return in the next 2 days.
One of the things I also did was a self portrait session with my wife which I had never attempted before. Being on the other side of the lens is challenging stuff! Even harder when you’re trying to keep self composed images in focus! I’ll post those later when I get home and have proper Internet access but for now here’s a shot of an image I took of Terra. It’s an image of the back of my camera LCD screen taken using the iPhone app ShakeItPhoto – one of the sweetest photography apps out there in my opinion. It’s probably one of my most favorite images I’ve taken of her. I’ve shared it a few times via twitter (@tlawphoto) and facebook already but I can’t help but blog it as well. She looks damn fine and mysterious in this.
Trying to write a full bog post on the iPhone with fat thumbs is a crazy hard so imma finish this right now. More images to come when I get home!
