I had the pleasure of meeting Amanda and Corey last year while they were newly engaged and looking for their Calgary wedding photographer.  When they came over to the studio we instantly hit it off.  Her infectiously cute smile, long flowing light colored hair (it was when we met!), those large doe eyes that you just can’t say no to and the pure energy that was bubbling from her and him…well we both shave our heads.  And he’s a good lookin’ dude as well!  I think we knew our working relationship was meant to be!

Their wedding is coming up soon and I can’t wait to get my shoot with this gorgeous couple again!

Finally! Meagan and Jonathan’s amazingly awesome engagement session.  I’m stoked that we got to do this session and I’m even more stoked about the results! I’m really looking forward to their wedding coming up as I know that with the help of their wedding planner, Inspired Occasions, the decor and design are gonna kill it! We actually wanted it to rain during the session, but as always, you can’t count on the weather forecast being as accurate as you want it to.  So all we got were grey skies and hot photos.  Fair trade I suppose.

This last image was kinda by accident.  I was setting up this moment for these two lovers and saw the Virgin Mobile sign over their heads kinda doing the exact same thing I was kinda sorta goin’ for.  So I just went with it… that slogan is kinda funny in so many ways.

Normally I include a short commentary on all my couples before we get to the pictures, but I know Eden has been waiting with excited curiosity to see the photos from their engagement session.  Her excitement is like a 7 year old girl waiting for her first pony ride.  His excitement is knowing that he gets to spend his life with this gorgeous girl.  So here you go Eden and Dan, your engagement session for all your (facebook) friends to see.  I’m really looking forward to your wedding later this year!
