A single frame from Kristine & Konrad’s wedding this past weekend.

So I’m back on the blogging train!  It’s been a while but admittedly it took me a bit to get back into the swing of things as I fell behind after coming home from holidays (a separate blog post on that to come) and had a number of weddings and amazing couples to photograph (which leads to even more blog posts).  Ok, so after all the excuses, I’m ready to show off the amazing wedding of Meagan and Jonathan.  One of the best parts of this wedding was the color scheme that this amazing couple and their wedding planner designed.  An ultra sexy black, hot pink and a splash of blue!

One of my favourite things about this couple was that Jonathan is such a protector of Meagan.  Several times throughout the day I heard him say “Whatever Meagan wants. This is her day”.  Now here’s a groom who understands that he’s just the accessory!  In those simple words it tells that he has the best interest of his wife at heart and it shows in the wedding photos.  Every detail was to Meagan’s desire and vision.  He is in love and she lets him be in love.  They are and will be happy together for a long long time.

I once blogged about the world’s most in love couple.  Those sentiments haven’t changed.  Probably doesn’t make my wife happy to hear me say that either!  But there’s simply no other way to describe these two.  Jodie is so in love with her man that she beams and gushes at every mention of his name.  Jordan plays the role of protector.  He wants to give her the world and more.  Anything to make her happy.  They are truly truly truly in love.  It is without a doubt one of the biggest honor to be trusted with the documentation of a couple’s wedding day.  Especially for such an amazing couple such as these two are.  Even after the wedding it continues to amaze me how bad Jordan makes me look as a husband! Thanks man!  You’ve set the bar ridiculously high for all men out there.  This wedding was a team effort with Lifeseven so make sure you head on over to her blog and check out some of the images she got as well.

A single image from Meagan & Jonathan’s wedding this past weekend

I met Lesley and Nic for the very first time at Starbucks.  Perfect.  I think I found a couple (or the very least a bride) who has the same addiction to coffee that I have.  We’re off to a pretty good start!  The decision was quick, which I always love. And in no time they had decided I was the lucky photographer who gets to document their day!  After that, most of our meetings took place at coffee shops around Calgary including a chance meeting at Phil & Sebastian’s and another meeting at Caffe Rosso.  True coffee junkies at heart.   This was definitely a wedding to get excited for, for all the right reasons.  A couple in love, personal touches and details and all at a venue that suited the couple to a “T”.   This wedding was all class topped off by one hot looking couple in love.  There are so many images here that make me giddy when I see them, I just had so much fun on their day.  One look at the images below and you’ll see a gorgeous couple who are in love with each.  Images of love warm my heart and make me love what I do.

Leslie and Nic, you two are especially lucky to be in love with one another and I’m incredibly happy for you.
